What Forexify stores

Forexify stores the shop domain, app session records required for Shopify authentication, and the storefront display settings selected by the merchant, such as enabled currency pairs and layout options.

What Forexify does not store

Forexify is designed to display public exchange-rate information. It does not intentionally store customer profiles, orders, payment details, or other protected customer data in its application database.

How data is used

Stored data is used only to authenticate the app, save merchant preferences, and render the exchange-rate bar on the storefront. Exchange rates are retrieved from the European Central Bank.

Retention and deletion

Forexify deletes stored shop data when the app is uninstalled and responds to Shopify compliance webhooks for shop and customer data requests. If you need additional help with deletion requests, contact the support contact listed in the Shopify App Store entry.
